Information Seminar about the Permanent Diaconate Formation Program: Sunday, November 5, 2:00-4:30PM at Most Holy Rosary Church, 2596 Main St., Maine, NY. A Permanent Deacon is ordained as a Sacramental Sign of the Church, as servant in active love and justice in society, in heralding the Word of God and in celebrating the Sacraments. If you have any interest in learning more about the Permanent Diaconate in the Diocese of Syracuse or about the Deacon Formation Program, this Information Seminar will assist you in your discernment.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must have completed the Diocesan Formation for Ministry Program or its equivalent and completed the VIRTUS training through the Safe Environment Program and who have discerned a call to service and who have parish or agency sponsorship. Men wishing to apply this year to enter the program beginning September 2018, together with spouse, must attend an information seminar. To register for the seminar, visit deaconformationsyracuse.org.
