Trustees

Work with the pastor on budget and other financial matters, as well as advise and oversee a variety of church functions.

Parish Council

Oversees and coordinates all parish organizations and activities, communicates with other parishes. Advises pastor.

Benevolent Committee

Distributes MHR's tithe to needy individuals and organizations, and also awards an annual scholarship of $500 to a graduating high school senior in the parish.

Religious Education

CCD program plus many other educational and informative programs for children and adults of the parish.

Human Development Committee

Works with Catholic Charities for Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets and also for the Christmas Giving Tree.

Liturgy

Committee meets with Father to plan the liturgy and many celebrations.

Music

Prepares music ministry for liturgical services and seasonal events. Trains choir.

Stewardship

Organizes the annual "Time and Talent" survey and arranges the summer parish picnic.

Oktoberfest

The primary fundraiser for Most Holy Rosary. Organizes the many hands that are necessary for this highly successful annual event.

Knights of Columbus Council #11621

Defenders of the faith, part of a worldwide organization. Open to all men of the parish. Breakfast buffet provides money to support a child in Ugandan schools, as well as a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior from Most Holy Rosary parish. Recent donations have been made to the parish for the purchase of new tables and chairs for the hall. Provides physical, spiritual and financial support for many church activities and events.

Building and Grounds

Maintenance of the church buildings and grounds -- general repairs, as well as supervise professional repairs.

Finance

Maintains records of daily finances and operations. Works with accountant, Charles Barrett, to audit finances. Prepares annual report to parishioners of parish finances.

Regional Diocesan Pastoral Council

Our parish representative to the quarterly meetings of the regional group of the Diocese of Syracuse.

Parish Life (Hearts and Hands of Mary)

Open to all women of the parish. They are a blessing to so many with their prayer shawl ministry, pillowcase dress program for children in third world countries, annual rummage sale, bereavement luncheons, help with Oktoberfest, harvest dinner, and so much more.

Maintenance

Cleans the church on a weekly basis, mows the lawns during the summer months, and takes care of walks and steps during the winter. Plowing is done by an outside concern.
